M2OH: "something i dreamed last night"
"M2OH" is the occasional moniker of the incomparable Mary Margaret O'Hara.
But we'll wax poetic about her some other time.

podcast | episode one: "but who was dr. satan?"
REJOICE, SINNERS!...the first official episode of the Saturday Night Movie podcast has arrived. The previous "tester" episode went over well enough to encourage me to continue this little charade, so here it is...in all its soulgothjazzbluessexyspooky glory.A change of note, for the audiophiles: I'm mixing down to 128k, which provides a somewhat-smaller file size but no loss in sound quality.
Another change of note: I'm posting full playlists for each episode, starting here. Henceforth:
"Nurse Sherry" radio spot > Gene Pitney - "That Girl Belongs to Yesterday"
Iggy Pop - "The Passenger"
Johnny "Guitar" Watson - "Three Hours Past Midnight"
O.V. Wright - "Nickel and a Nail"
Eddie Floyd - "Good Love, Bad Love"
Miles Davis - "Moon Dreams"
Lily Chou-Chou - "Wound That Heals"
Herbert - "Eden"
"Naughty Cheerleader" radio spot > DJ Mitsu the Beats - "My Lament"
Gert Wilden & Orchestra - "Dirty Beat"
Martina Topley-Bird - "Carnies"
Tom Waits - "Circus"
The Ventures - "Night Drive"
Andy Votel - "The Witch (Italy)"
Alison's Halo - "Slowbleed"
Enjoy, leave comments and such.

relaunch
Well, this would be version 2.0 of a blog I used to handle called "Saturday Night Dynamite". Not much difference between the name of this new blog and the old one, but those who remember the old blog will find that a few changes and improvements are in place now.
Among those changes: I officially launched my first podcast. You can listen to it (click the box on your left), or download it from Podomatic. The podcast is the big reason for my overhauling the old site--since it's not available on iTunes (yet), I wanted a better "front-end" for it. A page through which I could present the podcasts to you with a bit more...control?
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the new page, the new podcast, and any other new things I come up with.
